Definitions

- Alphabet:the letters of a language in their customary order.

-Street sign:street sign is a type of traffic sign used to identify named roads, generally those that do not qualify as expressways or highways.

-Advertisement:a paid announcement, as of goods for sale, in newspapers or magazines, on radio or television, etc.

-Constellation:
  1. any of various groups of stars to which definite names have been given, as Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Boötes, Cancer, Orion.

-ASCII symbols: symbols


-Electronic symbols:transistors)  An electronic symbol is a pictogram used to represent various electrical and electronic devices (such as wiresbatteriesresistors, and transistors) in a schematic diagram of an electrical or electronic circuit.

-Morse Code:Morse code is a method of transmitting text information as a series of on-off tones, lights, or clicks that can be directly understood by a skilled listener or observer without special equipment.

-American Sign Language:The American Sign Language is spoken in the United States. It is part of the Deaf sign language family. 

-Glyph:a pictograph or hieroglyph.

  1. According to the instructions for Week 1 Signs and Visual Communications, task 1, for each of these terms you must include a picture example as well.
